Read MoreJerry was a dear friend. He would bring children from Ellisville State School home for a weekend and we would take them to the park or have a cookout for them. He had a outgoing personality and knew everyone. He will be greatly missed, but I know he is in Heaven helping others as he did on earth. God bless his family and keep them safe.

I am so glad I got to know Jerry while in high school in Hattiesburg, MS. What a fine person he was and his life showed forth his Christian testimony. I know he will be missed by many.
