Cathy, Kevin, and family--
I was deeply saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. He was, quite simply, one of the sweetest, most open, and warmest human beings I have ever known. He was perhaps my very best friend in high school and the years immediately following. I remember that even though he could speak no Italian, and my grandmother could speak no English, Jerry unfailingly could make her laugh every time he visited our home. Cathy, Kevin and family - Just learned of the very sad news today of Jerry's passing. Although we go back to high school but haven't been in contact over the past several years, he remains an indelible presence in my memory. I still use many of his jokes and other vivid expressions on a weekly basis. He created joy wherever he went and didn't allow his suffering to dampen his joy for life.

uncle Jerry- as a young kiddo I would call you my best friend. as the years progressed you became more of an uncle. as I grew into young adulthood i realized you were more of a great friend. because of you I now love the kazoo. You love for baseball ( GOOO SOX!! ;) ) good wine and amazing bread are memories in which I will always cherish. and as I make my own bread i will think of you. love you uncle jerry, you will always be missed, but never forgotten.

I am so sorry for your loss. I got to know Jerry when he worked at AAA in Warwick and you lived in Foster. He was truly a gentleman.
