CAMDEN - Jerry Scarborough, 73, passed away on January 31, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul R. and Louise Hardman Scarborough. He was a member of the Cullendale First Baptist Church, a graduate of Fairview High School, and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

He is survived by one brother, Paul W. Scarborough and wife Linda of Rison, AR and one nephew, Paul D. Scarborough and wife, Jill of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Graveside services will be Monday, 10:00 at Stony Point Cemetery near Fordyce. Paul Was grieved to hear about Jerry. It has been several years since I have seen either you or Jerry. Jerry was always the one sent with us to keep us in line. Most of the time he did just that , whether it was at Fairview or later on at college.

Mr Scarboruugh was a very kind man. I only knew him for a short time,butwill miss him. I met him while he was in Valley Oaks.

Was so saddened to hear that Jerry Joe had left us. He was a member of our senior class and I always enjoyed visiting with him at our reunions. He will be missed. I will remember Jerry Joe from study hall our senior year. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

My heart goes out to you and your family at the loss of Jerry. He was a good friend and neighbor and will be greatly missed.
