Not sure what to say?

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Jerry's death. He had such a quick wit and sense of humor. My sympathy to his family.

Dr Schoettger was a very nice man and had a great sense of humor. He was always kind to me when I was over at the house and he made me feel very comfortable when he set my broken jaw.

Jerry was a friend and colleague. He was very skilled in his profession and he knew the best jokes that I have ever heard. Jerry will be missed.

Thanks for your Military Service.
Past Commander V.F.W.

Jerry was truly a great man. I am good friend of Scott's from high school, college and beyond. I spend a great deal of time at the Schoettger house and always enjoyed Doc's quick wit and sense of humor. He removed my wisdom teeth in college. He arranged to have Scott show up for my appointment with the biggest adjustable wrench I have ever seen. After I came to after almost fainting, we enjoyed a good laugh. He will truly be missed. God Bless and my deepest condolences.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am remembering Dr. Schoettger in my prayers. He was a great person and as the Head Nurse/Manager of the Recovery Room I always enjoyed working with him at St. Elizabeth's. He was kind and professional to all of the staff and very good to his patients!

Dr. Schoettger was a truly wonderful person. As a child, I was treated by him for a rare tumor in my mouth. Two surgeries later and many follow up visits, he was always the most friendly and warm person, I was never scared with him. At 5, those things stay with a person. I saw him years later at a football game when I was in Jr high, he remember me and called me by name and even looked in my mouth where he had done the surgery. We talked awhile and he gave me a hug and said goodbye. ...
