Read MoreHe was a good friend to people and to dogs. My mother Mimi and he were good chums back in the 70s. I have fond memories of his devotion to his beautiful Wiemeraner, Himtu (and Himtu's mutual devotion, of course). Sorry to learn of Jerry's passing.

Jerry and I walked with our dogs daily when I was up here. He was such a great friend. One of the nicest things was that when I visited him in the hospital and told him I loved him he said"I know you do." I was so glad he did.
He lived his life to the fullest. We loved our dogs. I lost my dog within a few weeks of Jerry's accident and still haven't really gotten over the loss of either of them. I will miss Jerry so.

He hardly ever missed a wave the hundreds of times we rode past him on Tomahawak. I hope they rename the lift for him.
