He had a wonderful unassuming presentation, but it was clear from listening to him that he knew his stuff, inside and out. He brought history to life.

He had a great soothing voice.

I love your documentaries and I just looked you up and learned you passed away. Your documentaries were enlightening your classy narrative style is incomparable .
Thank you and be at peace with the angels.

I love your documentaries, Jerry. They have entertained, and educated me, on many evenings. I just recently discovered them on Youtube. It was a shock to learn that you passed away 5 years ago. I was hoping to be able to thank you for these videos by email or phone. My favorites so far are: Judge Issac Parker (the Hanging Judge); Judge Roy Bean; Jesse James; Burch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid; and Sgt. Alvin York and Audie L. Murphy). Rest in peace. When I get to Heaven, I'll find you to say...

Nearly 5 years since Mr. Skinner's passing and I still miss his indepth movie reviews so eloquently delivered in that Southern drawl and wanted to again remember him and his work.

Have loved your informative and interesting video's over the years, and just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year, assuming you were still with us. Unfortunately that is not so, and I am sorry. Thank you for your interesting information and detail about people who we may be aware of but don't know their background. I have watched your work for years, and will continue.
