Not sure what to say?

JP was my first prom date, I was new in town and JP asked me to prom and I have always remembered JP fondly for that. We had some great times in high school and I am so sorry for this tragedy for everyone that knew and loved JP. JP was joyful, funny, blunt, a great person by all accounts. Rest in peace now JP.

I have fond memories with JP that go far back to childhood and will keep those close to my heart. Sending all my love to his family.

I didnt know Jerry but have a family member who is alot like him. I pray Jerry's family is able to find peace in their hearts.

Gone but will never be forgotten. R.I.P

Soo sorry that this happened to your loved one. May you find peace and we are praying for you. Mike and Debbie Etter Oklahoma

I knew Jerry through his many business ventures in Blacksburg. He was always pleasant, polite, friendly and had such an intelligent mind. I am so sorry to his family for their loss.

I always remember how Jerry loved catfishing at our lake. Such a shame. Rest in peace.

I just want to let you know how sorry I am for what happened to your brother, your uncle, your friend, Jerry. I read the story of what happened to him from my AOL email account. He seems ...from what I have seen here ...he seems to have been a very gentle spirit. May he rest peacefully and may you go on to live your lives honoring all the good things he would have liked to have done himself. God bless you with comfort and peace.

To all those who love JP... I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that I share in your sorrow, anger and undoubtedly many other feelings. I graduated with JP, but lost touch with him after that. I will always remember him as an intelligent, gentle soul, with a poise far beyond his years. May God bless you as you grieve. I will be praying for your peace and healing.
