Not sure what to say?

He led a life the rest of us can only dream of. Think of him every time I watch a Western. R. I. P.

Next to Cameron Mitchell you were my favorite on high chaparral. I loved all your roles and stunt performances. Rest in peace

As a childhood friend of your son Shawn, your exhuberance and presence impressed me to push my limits far beyond what others have demonstrated since. Have recently reconnected with Lake Hollywood and I miss the I was too late to see you again in this life. Rest well my childhood father figure...

Rest In Peace Jerry. I always loved watching you in the high chaparral and the purple hills and your many other roles.a good actor and stuntman

My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. High Chaparral fans will always treasure him for his winning smile and talented acting as "Ira Bean".

Jerry's contribution to the Western entertainment genre will live in the hearts of his fans forever. Sincere sympathy to his family on the loss of a talented and special man!

I just wanted to say that I was saddened to hear of Jerry's passing,
As a fan of The High Chaparral all those years ago, his acting and stunts in that programme and others brought pleasure to many throughout the years, and in many countries.
My thoughts are with his fmily and friends.

Even though Jerry Summers appeared in only one season of The High Chaparral, he left a lasting impression with viewers that carried through the life of the series and beyond. Sincere condolences are extended to his family on your loss.
