Survived by wife, Linda; children, Korry, Kalvin (Melissa), Kirk (Angela); 6 grandchildren; mother, Betty; brother, David (Rose). Memorials preferred. Visitation Friday 5-8 PM, with a Legion and 40/8 service at 8 PM at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. (763-767-1000). Funeral service 2 PM Eidsness Funeral Home, 1617 Orchard Drive, Brookings, SD.

Losing a parent is one of the hardest things I ever went through. You never get over it, you just eventually live with it. Jerry is no longer suffering and is in a much better place. Please pass my condolences on to your family.
