Not sure what to say?

As Winnie-the-Pooh said, "How lucky I am having someone that makes saying goodbye so hard"! So it is with both gratitude and sadness that I'm writing this message. Being a part of your life has been an honor and a joy. Until we meet again my friend. - Chris Turner

Years later, here I am thinking about you.

"Death Makes Angels of Us All & Gives Us Wings Where We Had Shoulders Smooth As Ravens Claws..."

I am thinking of you much today...
it was one year ago today that you made me smell your garlic finger....you had just helped out Prep Foods...and the next day you were gone.
So hard to believe such a lively person could leave us so quickly.
Thank you for your hugs, smile and gentle words just when I needed them.
We love you so very much.

I love and miss you Jerry. Until I see you again rest in peace brother

Well we just passed the 6 month mark of your passing to heaven... I didn't remind Nick he is still adjusting. I was telling Charlie how after you passed away I found little "gifts" from you all around the house, then I showed him a beautiful book mark I found in your work apron, He just smiled. We are missing you I know that won't ever stop.

I met Jerry at Whole Foods a couple of years ago right before his vacation home to Houston. We discovered our paths had crossed while growing up and living in H-Town and became fast friends. So tragic such a young life was taken from all of us. Jerry's enormous smile and fun loving personality will be be forever missed!

Jerry was the guy you went to when you had a problem and when you had a funny story. He always had your back and lots of laughter. Miss you, BIg Guy!

Every time we have an all store meeting here, I can't help but feel that something or someone is just missing. I will never forget my first screening interview with Jerry, when he found out I was also from Houston. We graduated just a couple of years apart & even both spent time at Lee. I told him that I used to go to the Hobbit Hole - what a kick to find out he even worked there... We reminiscenced about those days back in the '70s. I've never met anyone quite like Jerry & I miss him...
