As I told Wade just days ago, I have no words that will make Jerry whole again in this life. He is, however, whole again with GOD and will forever be in our thoughts. I am grateful that something touched me last Christmas Eve that made me come and see you and Jerry. I will cherish those moments of Jerry forever. God bless you in this time of sorrow and know we will pray for you and your family. You have such a beautiful family and I know they will help make you strong. God speed...

We were so sad to hear of Jerry's recent death last Friday. Ironically, as I am typing this message on the guestbook page of his obituary, I can't help but think of Jerry and his dedication to reading the obituaries daily in the newspaper. Karen and I knew that we could depend on Jerry to let us know any time one of our old friends from Sears had died. Sadly, it is very ironic and quite surreal to be reading his obituary today.

Betty, Wade, Bret, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Jerry. Jerry was a fine man and helped mold us 4 knuckleheads into being respectable men. Jerry always made time for us to go fishing ,sailing or a trip to Garner and I am very thankful for that. I was sad to receive the news of Mr. Wandel's passing but relieved that he was set free of any pain! Happy that I was able to have all of the recent visits with him and they were much enjoyed. What a great man he was and I will cherish a lifetime of memories! Thanks for sharing your husband and father with me! Loved him much!
