Not sure what to say?

I was first blessed with Dr. Westcott's teaching when he was a guest speaker at our little fellowship in Collbran. What a gifted pastor! We were greatly blessed and forever changed. Later, as a student at CCU, I was blessed again to have him as professor of a Bible Interpretation course. That course remains the favorite and most useful class on my transcript! Dr. Westcott isn't gone ~ he lives on in the many lives he has affected for the glory of God ~ what a remarkable testimony. We...

I feel privileged and blessed to have known Professor--Dr. Jerry Westcott. What an inspiration he was to our University, students and staff. Jerry’s knowledge, wisdom, and finesse was an attribute to the curriculum and the courses he instructed; he was an expert in his field and a man of heart. Jerry, thank you for making a difference at CCU. You have touched so many and words cannot articulate the profound effect you made.
Blessing to Mrs. Westcott and family during this time of loss.

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Wescott's family. He was truly a man of God, filled with the Spirit. A man of integrity and wisdom, I only had him for one class but it blessed me so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones. I know he is at peace in heaven, he has left a blessed legacy on earth. May we all live a life full of love and grace as he did. God bless.

Dearest Shirley and Family;
I can never say the words to ease your hearts, but you all know what a precious man Jerry was. I will always remember what an example of a Godly man he was and what he taught me through his Sunday School Classes and our friendship over the last few years. He'll be waiting for us all, Lucky him, he gets to touch the face of God before we do!
God's blessings! Kathleen

I feel blessed to have known Jerry. As a staff member and student at Colorado Christian University, I can say Jerry was a respected faculty member and a favorite among the students. His knowledge and love of the Lord inspired all of us. My prayer is that God will comfort his family and friends during this time of loss.

To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.We are looking forward to the day when we will be together again in the place Jesus has prepared for us.May the peace of Jesus be with you.

I feel honored to have known such a great man as Dr. Jerry Wescott. It is my hope that I too can live a life like Pastor Jerry’s; a good husband, father and servant of the Lord’s with NO REGRETS. My sincere condolences to Shirley and the entire Wescott family. Our loss is truly heaven’s gain

What a precious man of God Pastor Jerry was. His example to us in tough times was exemplary. He truly lived what he preached. We loved him dearly and we love you, too, Shirley. May God grant you his comfort at this time.

It is with the great sorrow that I write this note of condolence. However, I know that Jerry Wescott was a man with a heart fashioned after God's own heart. There are no words that can describe what and how much Mr. Wescott has done for the communities the Fruita, Grand Junction, and the surrounding areas. His life has touched so many lives that I cannot begin to express The profound effect he had on the people who have had the privelege of knowing him. The main thing I remember most about...
