Not sure what to say?

We will miss Col Wible forever in our hearts! He loved everything about the Army. Sweating putting up tents, eating MRE's. A great doctor and soldier!

I served with COL Wible in the Army Reserve unit, the 313th HUS. Though I was senior enlisted and he was an officer, I never knew him to be anything but kind and professional. I was the Platoon Sergeant for our Officer Platoon at one point and had a good time attempting to train our officers on their marching skills. COL Wible already had these skills but participated with grace and understanding. In the few conversations I remember with him, I knew him to be approachable and patient, as...

I served as an Army Medic, Chaplain Assistant, and Career Counselor, and one of the Docs I admired the most was Jerry. He is missed by many, and I will never forget his smile, and encouragement he gave to all of us.

I was in the 313th Hospital Unit Surgical with COL Wible for many years. He loved going to the field and pitching tents. Though he was a doctor, he would sweat along with the rest of us and he LOVED it. I did hundreds of officer evaluation reports and his faithful secretary Marlene would make sure he signed them in the right place and send them back to me on time. He was always willing to serve at any level. A true hero!
I will truly miss him!

Rest Jerry, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation.
