Not sure what to say?

He was very tall, imposing man...Well respected

Thinking of you CSM Wilson! You shall never be forgotten. RIP

Thinking of you today on Memorial Day. I enjoyed all the time that we served together. You are not forgotten. The price of freedom is very high.

Never Forgotten. We love you, still.

I stoped and visited you at the NIM at FT. Benning. Its been many years since I served with you in the 172nd. You will never be forgotten.

Still think about you CSM Wilson. It´s been a long time since that terrible day. May you soar with Heaven´s angels. Rest In Peace my Brother.

CSM Wilson, you were my Drill Instructor at Fort Benning in 1983. You taught me so much. You had a way of motivating without humiliating, which is rare among Drill Instructors. You called me "little big man" and encouraged me about my assignment (after basic and infantry training) with th 1/75 ranger Battalion. You told me to "go take the test and be the best." Thank you CSM. RIP

CSM, I first met you when you were a platoon leader in Panama and I was a green 2LT. It is because of NCOs like you that any officer is successful in the military. I last saw you at Ft. Campbell just before you deployed. Your smile and firm handshake will always be with me. You are a friend and a mentor. On this Memorial Day I wanted to raise a glass to you and say thank you. May the Lord bless and keep your family always. I know you are keeping watch over all of us.

I met CSM Wilson as a Drill Sergeant at Harmony Church in 1983 at Fort Banning, GA.
We later crossed paths in Panama and down range in Iraq.
CSM Jerry Wilson was a True Leader you never Forgot, WE also lost CSM Donovan Watts from the 82d around this time period and so many countless other great Warriors in OIF and OEF.
May God look over the Wilson family all the days of our life. We will never forget our Drill Sergeant, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major and Friend.

CSM...
