There´s an empty spot at the gym. I would see him sitting in the corner with a smile and wave. We had some in depth conversations regarding who the basketball coach should play, strategies he could use, etc. watched some basketball practices together. He will be greatly missed

Jerry helped "Goose" and I with a discounted rate for loading barges at his River Dock on the Big Sandy near Ashland in the mid 80s . It was our first Coal Supply Contract with KU and He was gracious and our friendship continued through some 40 yrs. Most Recent years we would frequently share stories of growing Family involvement and of course Armchair coaching our Cats. Everyone who knew Jerry regarded Him with The Highest Esteem and He will be missed desperately by all especially...
