Not sure what to say?

To Natasha, Steven,Kathy and Phyllis:
Know that Jerry was one of my favorite nephews. I didn't see him for many years. I am glad that I had the chance to visit in the short time I had with him on my vacation. My condolences to you, friends and the rest of our family.
Love, Uncle Sam

I have a few memories of Jerry that I would like to share. I was invited by one of his cousins to a New Years Eve party at his house in Stow. Arriving at the house close to midnight, being dark outside, I walked up to the side door and knocked. The door opened and there stood Jerry with a pistol. Instinatly I said "Dude, I was invited and told to bring a bottle of wine", holding it up high enough for him to see. He then said "well come on in" as he put the pistol into his belt. Later he...

I am Jerry's 2nd cousin, and these are some of the memories that I have! I remember going to Florida to visit. I remember the 2004 Ford Mustang convertable that we all drove around in. No one else might remember your magic hat, but I always will!! I also remember how cold the beach was and all of the dark clouds around. I remember siting in your canoe and talking about how much you love the palm trees in your yard! You will always be in my heart forever, and I will always love you!!!

Jerry is my 2nd cousin, and I have a lot of wonderful memories. I remember going to his house in Stow and having to go outside with Sassy while everybody else was having "adult time"! He was the first one to get pineapple and ham pizza, which soon became my favorite and a tradition when we would visit. He would always let me play on his computer (most of the time playing battleship and snake). He would always get me Sesame Street towels for Christmas, right before he moved to Florida, he...

Jerry and I are first cousins along with Kathy they have always been my favorites. I have very fond memories of Jerry loving trains as a kid. He also had a bedroom that I'll never forget, Black lights and glow in the dark posters. We had a lot of Birthday parties in the basement and watched the Eclipse in Stow. Just as the seasons changed, so did we. As we grew older we traded Trains and Birthday parties for Arsenic and Old Lace. (A shop Jerry use to work at). After he left work we...

My Brother Jerry "Doc" Woolsey was my only living 1st blood relative. He was 10 yrs, 6 mos, and 12 days older than me. He was my Big Brother. There when I got stood up for a big dance and took me to the dance himself. Picked me from bad dates. Was the main father figure in my son's life and alot of his personality is w/Steven today. I see it everyday w/ my granddaughter Geri. Life goes on and that is what he would have wanted. He always supported me, and through that I was able to achieve the...

Jerry, "Doc", is my brother in the biblical sence. We are 45 1/2 yrs. apart, him being older. As far as being a BIG BROTHER, thats so true in every sence. He was there when I got stood up for a dance by a guy that I had a crush on and took me to the dance. He was there to pick me up from a date gone wrong. He taught me how to play guitar, and gave me my first guitar, a "KAY 12 String (with only 6 strings)", He was absolutely forgiving when i dusted his bedroom w/baby powder. long time ago....
