Not sure what to say?

I met Jerry Wright when I was a baby, never saw him again and I don´t really know why. Apparently he was loved by his students and family and that´s good to hear. I never got the chance. But my brother and I did well and always got the opportunity to enjoy a great family. Sounds like Jerry did too. Thank you.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Dawn and all the family in the passing of such a wonderful man and teacher. Those of those who were blessed by his direction and innate musical abilities will never forget him! He was the reason I (Lori) chose music and teaching as my vocations. He always had faith in his students, and I will never forget being able to accompany his choirs and student directing my senior year at Kelseyville High School in 1963. Music has always been my passion, which he...

I am at a loss for words to express how much he effected my life in high school. Band was the highlight for me, and I always look back on my time with Jerry as the best memories I could have had. He believed in me, and sometimes you take that forward with you for the rest of your life. A great teacher will do that for you, and he was beyond great. May he RIP.

Our deepest sympathy to the Wright Family. Ken and I met in the "new band" room at Rancho Cotate High School. Mr. Wright was our favorite instructor! We loved the years we spent in the classroom, performing in concerts, and marching in parades. Mr. Wright loved music! He loved teaching! We are so very thankful to have had him in our lives.
