Not sure what to say?

Dear Kathy:

Eva's Godmother just wrote my Mother to inform her of Pan Maciuszko passing. I have fond memories of him growing up in Berea. He once gave me a red book, which he wrote about Polish
History.

This is a very sad time. You and your daughter are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Basia Palmowski Allen

It is with deep regret we read about Dr. Maciuszko's passing. He was a guest at my parents' home, a welcome smile at the main Cleveland Public Library and his letters of recommendation for me were greatly appreciated. A true gentleman and a wonderful part of my childhood. Sincerest condolences to his loved ones.

Dear Kathleen - We will miss Dr Maciuszko's warm and caring personality. He was sincerely interested in the welfare of all of us!!! I remember fondly the dinner you and he hosted for the 'Polish kids' at your lovely home. He was very excited that we remember our heritage and the history of the brave and patriotic Polish people. I will truly miss him and know that he is with our Lord Jesus, my mom and all our Polish heroes in Heaven! Love, John and Theresa Domanski

Dr. Maciuszko was the intellectual and spiritual father of Polonia in Cleveland. He represented what’s best in the Polish people: cultural upbringing, intellectual power, tolerance and love for others, dedication to arts and community, and devotion to tradition and the motherland. A great humanist, he belonged to the Polish intelligentsia, a very special group of people that was targeted for complete extermination by both Hitler and Stalin. Very few people of this caliber survived WWII. ...

A scholar, a gentleman and a friend. He played an important role in the lives of so many students at Alliance College. Dr. Maciuszko will be missed.

Kathleen, I was so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. From what I have read he was a very dedicated teacher and scholar. May God Bless you and your daughter and know that your are in my prayers.

Dr. Maciuszko was the quintessential European professor on the campus of Alliance College. I remember him fondly and my sympathy is extended to his family.

Dear Kathleen,
We were saddened to read of George's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
