Not sure what to say?

I grew up in the Bronx NY. I was born in 1950. My memories of Dr Diamond coming to my apartment to make a house call with his little black bag. We lived off the Grand Concourse on Grant Avenue. It is so difficult to imagine in this day and age any doctor doing that. What an amazing man he was. I grew up, now 75 years old and a retired RN. He was an incredible person and physician.

Dr. Diamond was my brother's and my beloved pediatrician for many years. He was a gentle soul who was a tireless advocate for children, was kind and gentle, worked very long hours, made house calls and was never too busy to talk and console. Since i had chronic otitis, my parents and i often made the trip across the Concourse to his office, across the street from the "other" flatiron building. His influence on my life was profound. After being accepting into Einstein College of Medicine -...

My mother spoke often of Dr. Diamond, my pediatrician on the Grand Concourse. He had telephone call in hour once daily. He advised her to feed the baby beef juice. What's beef juice? You roast the beef and put the beef on mashed potatoes to give the baby some iron. His solution for hiccups was to give the baby a teaspoon of boiled water. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. I was always treated well by them many years ago.

May the Almighty comfort you with all mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Will never forget Dr Jess. Even when he treated me as a small child 60 yrs ago. He was always a dear friend to my parents.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Anne and your family!

He had a never ending smile, was an impeccible dresser (giving ALL the credit to his wife), a jovial personality as well as being the most genuine & sincere person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He will be missed.

My condolences to the family. May the God of all confort continue to confort and bless you during this time of sorrow. 2 Corintias 1:3,4
