Jess Willard Morse

I knew Jess when he was a staff sergeant and I was a Specialist 5 at Peterson Field in the 44th Aviation Detachment of the Army Air Defense Command. This was 1971 to 74 when we stood down the unit. I never worked directly for him but knew him to be a very good man and we got along well. He took care of the soldiers under his charge and he was known to be an excellent NCO. My condolences to his sons who I know have lost a very fine father.

I knew Jess from up on the hill that he visited weekly. He will be missed! He always had great conversation and a great attitude! Until we meet again Jess!

I miss Jesse! He always had a smile on his face. He also never complained about his pain. As long as I knew Jesse, he would tell me how much he wanted to go home... that home is Heaven! I have a short video of him I took to back on September 1, 2024´, if interested.

I will miss our conversations each Sunday when I would ask how you were doing and you would always answer "Fair to Midland!" And you would always add that you were ready to go home but God still had you around. Well now you are dancing with Jesus and you have been reunited with your wonderful wife. I was blessed to know you and am so happy to know you have received your prize!
