I was acquainted with Jess & Laurie at First Interstate Bank. Jess was an honorable man, Laurie and I worked together. They are both part of my fondest memories. God bless you Jess.

Ah, Laurie, how well I remember all the times we spent together at PGC and the newsroom. You and Jess were so special to our family, in so many ways. Wish we didn't live so far apart. I could talk all day long about so many wonderful and memorable things. Take care, Laudelina...

Jess became family when he married Laurie. Their care, love & dedication for each other was an inspiration. Jess was such a wonderful man and always welcoming and gracious the times we spent with him. May he rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord. God bless Laurie and his family.

Jess and I worked together at both First Interstate Bank and again at The Bank of California. At the Bank of California, he ran the Trust Department and I was in charge of the Commercial Bank. Together we served as the bank's senior officers in Portland. More importantly, we were good friends working together to grow the bank in Portland from the early 1980's to the late 1990's. Good bye old friend.
