To my cousins: I am sure you realize how special your dad was. If all children had a father like him, the world would be a much better place to live in. The world would be a better place in general too, if people followed his lifestyle of staying out of other people's business and living a simple lifestyle. Uncle Jess was a special person in my life. He was kind, hardworking, humorous and a downright nice person. I smile every time my mind replays him telling stories about Shorty Darby!...

Memories of the fun times with Uncle Jesse and family on the little farm are some of the best ones I have of my childhood. My deepest sympathy and my love to all of the family.
