You will be missed Jess, I treasure the many good memories of our little afternoon walks. I was blessed to be able to work for you. You did not treat me like an employee but a friend and I loved that about you. Hope you know how much you meant to me.

We were so sad to hear of Jesse´s passing. He was such an amazing man and I´m so thankful that my dad could call him a friend. We are thinking of you all and praying for you during this time. Erin (Tom Ryan´s daughter)

I was saddened this morning to learn of, yet, another passing of a giant of our City. Jesse Bollinger's accomplishments for our City are well described in his obituary. One could easily conclude that Jesse Bollinger 'made this place.' Wonderful man, great citizen, marvelous family man, Jesse left the heritage of the Ancient Greek philosophers -- he left his city far better than it was when he received it. Rest in Peace, Jesse, knowing that your accomplishments will last, forever.
