There is no way to delineate in words what kind of a mentor, teacher, and friend Jesse Ceci has been to me since the day I was able to walk until my final days of college. I only wish I had been around during his final days to hear one more fantastic story of his life...I will always remember his fantastic sense of humor, his beautiful music, and his involvement and love of the community. Jesse is greatly missed by our family.

I speak for myself and for the Denver Chamber Orchestra family - musicians, board, staff, audience and volunteers - in sending deepest sympathy to the family of Jesse Ceci. Jesse served as our beloved concertmaster for several years, and was a source of inspiration to all of us. His dedication to excellence coupled with his warm gentleness made him a beautiful leader and friend. We will always be grateful to him and count ourselves extremely fortunate to have worked with him.

His life was devoted to his music and friends. His musical knowledge was extensive. He was gifted with many friends. His music was heavenly and left us uplifted and inspired. Many thousands of people who did not know the Maestro personally, still received through him immense pleasure and enjoyment. His mind and his heart were revealed in his violin and the music. My life is enhanced and richer because of our friend, Jesse. I will remember you always.

Jesse Ceci will always hold a special place in my life. He pushed me to unbeknowst hights as a violinist, and acted as a great mentor and friend. I will miss him and his powerful music, but will hold and treasure his memory for the rest of my days.

Jesse Ceci was given an incredible gift for making music which made imprints on our hearts. As a friend, I discovered that Jesse was a simple and humble man who loved to plant his flowers every Spring, enjoyed a good dinner now and then with friends, and delighted in sharing his experiences from his travels and performances. Through endless hard work, Jesse gave back to God,and we were the blessed recipients of his beautiful music. We miss you, Jesse, and our lives are forever enriched.

Jesse,
You were and are such an inspiration to me, not just in violin playing but in your gentle nature and humility. You gave me courage when I was down, and hope when I wanted to give up. I can't ever thank you enough for all you've done for me. My dream is that one day I will become a kind and caring teacher just like you. I promised before you passed away that I'd practice hard, and I will do my best. When I see you on the other side, maybe then I could say proudly, "See Jesse,...
