Not sure what to say?

I didn't know this page still existed to this day. I remember you every April 16th, every Memorial Day, every time I think about East High, drama and band together for plays and performances, how the sax never left your side. I remember our long talks, what was going to happen after high school, what ministry was going to be like, and so much more. What I never planned on doing with you is saying goodbye from this earth. I never planned on attending your wake and funeral. I never had it...

April 16th 2007, LCpl Jesse Delatorre was KIA in Al Anbar Province Iraq. I remember it like yesterday and it haunts me to this day. You embodied Honor, Courage, and Commitment. You were a warrior/scholar the brave soul with a big heart. I have held Marines to a standard, because men like you give the uniform meaning and the service purpose. I miss you brother and I will never forget you. Semper Fi.

On this Thanksgiving Day our family offers our deepest gratitude to Jesse for his service and sacrifice for this country.

My friend, I came across old band pictures of you recently, and I smiled to myself because in my mind I heard you playing your saxophone... the little town I live in recently honored all the soldiers from illinois that have been killed in action since 2001, and as I walked through the doors and saw the 300 hand drawn portraits, I hesitated going to look at them because I didn't want to see you there.. I placed a rose at your picture and told my husband about you.. I think about you, and Ill...

To the family and friends of Cpl. Jesse D. Delatorre:
Always remembering Jesse. "Some gave all."

To the family of Cpl. Jesse D. Delatorre:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

We have never forgotten. Yesterday, May 1, 2011 the other person you and your comrades were looking for was brought to justice. He is dead now, I hope you can rest in peace now that both of them are gone from earth. I miss you and wish you were here with us.

To the family and friends of Cpl. Jesse D. Delatorre:
