Jesse - We are greatful for many things, to include the opportunity to remember you and others each year around Memorial Day. Thank you for being a great example to your family, the military, and society. It was an honor to be able to attend your memorial and graveside honors. My continued prayers to the family.

Jesse, it seems like forever that you walked out of school for the last time. I'm so grateful for the conversations we had, for the beautiful writing you have allowed me to share, and for the brilliance and wisdom you possessed far beyond your years. Your little boy is growing up handsome and strong just like you. You are not forgotten.

Dietrich,
This weekend is memorial day weekend. Its been 5 years since our tour in Afghanistan. I was just thinking of you and all who have sacrificed upon the alter of freedom. You will never be forgotten...
