Jay and Sue, How lucky I was to have got to know Jay, Sue is like
A sister to me, I worked in the Willow Barn with them, boy Jay never
let it be boring,I will never forget him! They took me to Pensacola Beach for my first time I
felt like a little kid,They made sure I had a great time. I really miss you Jay, and I will always take care of sister Sue. I know I will see you in Heaven, Also I met his family and they are all in my heart and prayers

Jay was my best friend and how I miss you dude. I have known Jay sense third grade, we did about everyting you could think of and more. Jay had alot of hard times and good times, but even when things were bad and Jay had his share of those, he always was able to find the good in everything. He was a hard worker and didn't hold a grudge against anyone. He showed me by example how to get through things and see the good instead of the bad.
We went hunting and fishing and took our motor...

I didnt know my Mom's cousin very well, however I did get to know him a few years ago. He was a kind man who truly would do anything to help his family. I appreciate everything he did when my Gran-Gran passed away. He will be missed by all!
Love, Jerah

I met Jay at Pensacola Beach a couple of years ago. He's been like an extra dad to me, Here are two poems I wrote, one for Jay and one for Sue.

Knowing a Man

I know a great man
He's wise and always true
He's a natural born beach bum
He loved to watch the waves shimmer blue,

He loved his wife
And his 20 beach kids
He'll always watch over us
It was great, the life that he lived

He was never to...

Jay was a valued member of our beach family. He was a real asset to City Hall Beachside, and everyone misses him a lot. It's impossible to gather at the beach without thinking about him. He was always friendly and helpful to friends and strangers alike. We're glad we had the opportunity to know him.

I'm Jay's cousin. I have good memories from our childhood of Jay and his family visiting us in Florida or when my family went to Indiana and how Jay would look after little sister Synde and me. That was his nature and always would be. Later on when I moved to England and was SO homesick, Jay showed up to visit me while he was on leave from military duty in Germany. Such a nice surprise and just when I needed it most. Again, just like him to be there when someone needed something.
