I was so saddened to hear of the death of Jesse. I was a member of the class of '70 & remember what a great football player he was. I didn't know him personally, but EVERYBODY knew who Jesse was. A close friend that lives in Guyton from the class of '71 let me know of his passing. My sincere condolences to all of Jesses family & friends.

Even though I was in HVJ Class of "68" Jesse always had time to say hello and was a great guy. He shined in sports and he will be missed.

To The Ennis Family
I was saddened to hear of Jesse's passing through a very dear friend of mine. I remember how Jesse was "the man" on the football field and such a fun partier after graduation at HVJ (1970). So many years have passed, but the memories will last forever. My sympathies to the family and all of Jesse's friends.

For Jesse's Family,
That tall handsome blonde guy from Jr High has always been the secret love of my life. Once you met him, you couldn't help but love him. I skipped school from SHS one day and walked all the way to Jenkins to see Jesse. His teacher let me sit in class with him so we wouldn't get in trouble. Now that is what a great friendship is all about. Jesse, forever in my heart, and your star will always shine brightly.
