I’ll always remember growing up with big Fortier Family Christmas celebrations at Meme and Pepes together. Jesse and Cody were always so welcoming even though I’m not blood related to everyone, but have become like family over the years being so close to Natalie. Fly high Jesse, you will be missed but never forgotten.

I graduated High School with Jesse in 2009. I remember him always being so nice and friendly to everyone no matter what. He always had a smile on his face and was just a great person. My heart goes out to Jesse’s family and all of his close friends during this difficult time.

I met Jesse through a Friday night hockey game that we played in on and off for about 5 years. It was a special skate because you had to know somebody to get invited and as players came and went a core group of guys stayed. It became a Friday night ritual to get out of work and let off some steam in a fun pick up game of hockey. Afterwards we all would chip in and grill some food, drink a couple beers and hang out. I'm still struggling to accept the loss of the larger-than-life guy I had affectionately nicknamed "mon frère" so many years ago, because in so many ways he transcended friendship into family...but he was never one to slow down or stay down, so please let this bring a smile to you in the way that he always did for me.
