Not sure what to say?

I knew J.B. Goodsell from my years at Ole Miss (1982-1987) when I completed my Ph.D. in Educational Administration. J.B. worked as a colleague in the summers teaching swimming at Ole Miss and also worked as a Lifeguard during the summers while he was in Law School at Ole Miss. I also taught swimming and Lifeguarded during the summers along with other teaching jobs on campus throughout those five years at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. J.B. was always an optimist and the life of any...

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of J.B.'s and Marion's passing. What wonderful memories I have from knowing them. My heart goes our to all their loved ones. God bless and keep you all.

JB was one of my students when I taught high school ...one of my boys. As an adult he was one of my friends. We had many a deep debate over the issues of this world. In a world that can break your heart into he was always there with a big heart.I'm going to miss my friend.

Jesse will be greatly missed. He had such a way of cheering up ev everyone around him. Was always willing to help if he could. Just a great person. I will miss him.

I loved J.B. and I am devastated he's left this earth. God Bless everyone who knew and loved him...especially his family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Margie and Joey - My thoughts and prayers are with you at the loss of J.B. and your Mom. I have fond memories of them both.

I am truly saddened to learn of JB's passing. He was a dear friend, and I reflect on all of the fun adventures we had when he lived in Washington, DC. He had a huge heart. He was kind, so clever and quick witted. He always lifted you up by just being in his presence. My thoughts and prayers are with JB, his recently departed mother and also with his siblings during this sad time.

Oh JB I'm still in shock from this. You and Marion have been such a big part in my life the past few years. With her death I felt a rip and wasn't sure what I was gonna do. I never realized how much you meant to me til I knew I would never see you or talk to you again. In some ways you were like a father to me more so than my own. You will always be in my heart and I will miss you until we meet again my friend. As you would say... Yeehaw!

Oh old friend, I'm am so sad hearing this news today. Only last night Bill and I were reminiscing about you when we met in the 80's; then today I find you're gone. You must have said goodbye on your way up. You were a ball of fire, a champion for the little man, and a blast to be around. We loved you so much and always hated we lost touch. Save me a seat up there in heaven next to you; we got catching up to do. Love you man. Gwen and Bill Stewart
