Read MoreMr. Joyner lived beside us on Darby Ave. from 1968-1980 (first on one side of us and then on the other!). He was our piano teacher when we were small, giving us piano lessons at 7:00 a.m. before school. He also brought us the prettiest Christmas ornaments one year from Joyner's Gift shop that he owned. I'll always remember him as very kind, giving, and a wonderful neighbor!

I remember Mr Joyner and his mom fondly as his neighbor when I was a child growing up on Darby Ave. One year they gave us a box of Christmas decorations from their gift shop. I think my parents still had some of them until their passing. I am sorry for his family's loss.
