Jesse Paul Kirkland III

Red, it's been 10 years since you left us. I promised you then you would not be forgotten ever. I meant it. Your departure still hurts. Thank you for the memories, for your friendship and your mentorship. Thank you for that last message you told me before leaving that fateful night. Everybody still laughs about the jokes and stories told that night. Brother, you will not be forgotten. Not now, not ever.

My condolences to the Kirkland family. Jesse really touched our lives when we were neighbors in Laredo, TX. It was so heart warming to see the special bond Jesse and Garret had. Jesse was always making sure my son and I were OK. He really went out of his way for friends and neighbors. He truly touched the lives of all who knew him and will be missed. He will be in my prayers...

It was my pleasure to briefly work with Jesse at his station in Laredo. He was an outstanding BP Agent, leader and person.

Jesse was a good friend of mine at the Laredo North Border Patrol Station. We had many laughs together. He will be missed by all.
