Not sure what to say?

Judy, I just read on Facebook about the death of Skipper. I am so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls and your extended family. I will always remember our friendship at FBC. With Sincere regrets, Roberta(Brown) Hill

To the family of Skipper, my prayers are with you. It is always sad to hear of old friends passing. I knew Skipper and his family very well. I live in Prairieville La. and last saw Skipper after my dad passed away about 16 years ago. Bill Smith

My name is Joe Bush, I live in Mexico Beach, FL. For some reason I went online this morning and read the Obituary for Birmingham. I got cold chills when I read Skipper's Name. Then I got a warm feeling when I went back to my memories of me growing up in Graysville and hanging out with skipper. We had some great adventures in that small town as kids. Skip was always fun to be with and I am truly sorry that we lost our friendship over the many years since those great summer days fishing and...

Judy, I am Eloise Terrell's son. Skipper was a great guy and always had kind words to say to everyone. Even during my Dad's funeral he came over and said consoling words referring to my Dad as being a good man. It was fun growing up with him in Graysville. He always had a smile and was eager to help anyone. Even when he was sitting outside the house, he always gave a friendly wave when we drove by. We'll all miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Charles and Eloise Terrell

Judy, you and your family are in our prayers. May the Lord comfort you and be by your side during your loss. Bill and Rebecca Billits

Judy, I don't think I have ever met you and your daughters but I am the daughter of Annie Jo West (deceased 2002) and she told me that she knew you. I grew up with Skipper and with your cousin, Sandra Tate Thomas. All of us were childhood friends but went our separate ways in high school. I am so sorry to hear about Skip - Thomas Adair notified me via email early this morning. Skip was a good friend when we were young and I just know he was a great husband and father. My prayers are with...
