My family and I knew of Mr. Neely and his family per us being neighbors for years while residing on 13th Avenue & Waite Street. Mr. Neely was a good man to know. Sending prayers and condolences to The Neely family. Seems as if it was only yesterday, when we were kids at Washington Elementary. No matter how much time has passed, I will always remember how kind your father was. May your memories sustain you until you meet again.

I have always loved and admired Uncle Jessie because of the kind of person he was. But how much I loved and admired him grew tremendously when he rode along with my husband Jessie and I on a ride to and from Memphis TN. I can't believe how in those short hours I learned so much more about him. And in those hours I learned that I had only scratched the surface of knowing how kindhearted and what a pure and beautiful soul he was. It's hard to type was because I know he still is.
