I'm so sorry to see the loss of such a great man who cared so much about Oxford. His love for Oxford was so evident in everything that he did. I didn't know him personally, but he seemed great. I hope that the family take comfort in the fact that the God of hope is not done here. He has the final word.

Special memories with Jesse-He and Mary Libby Payne were among the first people to encourage me as a Freshman at Ole Miss in 1953. Later we served on a mission trip to Paraguay.
