A year has passed since Jesse's death, but he lives on in our hearts and memories, and I think all of us continue to admire his mother for all the love and light she brought into his life.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help at this time.

My thoughts are with you now and in the days and months ahead. I treasure the times we have spent together and am honored to know such a kind and caring Mom and such a devoted, sweet Sister. Dear Tomi, I can only repeat what I've said so many times before: Jesse was very lucky to have had you for a mother and Robin as a sister. You were always so loving--appreciative of his precocity, supportive of his special interests, and protective of him through all of his ordeals. Jesse's tragic death does not negate his short, remarkable life. Those of us who knew him--at least a little bit--will remember him with love, as we think of you now and always. No one is better than you...

I hope Jesse is at peace now, and so should we be though we still miss him. My heart goes out to you and the pain must sometimes be almost unbearable. But take heart -- there's a reason for everything. To Jesse and other children who might now be suffering like he did, may this blight be lifted!
