I am sorry to hear this. He was a friend in high school and then at Sam Houston, we had a lifesaving class together. I was one of 3 girls in a class full of jock, Thomas included. There was a drill where we had to save someone from the bottom of the pool and flip them over and swim them the length of the poll. The coach partnered me with Thomas, who was MUCH larger than I was.
