I´m terribly sad to learn that Jesse has passed. Jesse was always kind to me and my family and a real inspiration. He overcame hardships without feeling sorry for himself or being bitter about the hand he was dealt; on the contrary-he took lemons and made lemonade. So many times I walked into Wings feeling down but after getting a big smile, hug and words of wisdom from Jesse, I would leave feeling encouraged and uplifted. I got to take Jesse to see Bill Engval at the VT state fair one year. His endearing charm scored us a photo op and signature from the famous comedian. He had great hugs - I will miss him immensely.
