Not sure what to say?

Jesse was one of the most civic-minded men it was my privilege to be his Friend and Co-Worker. He and Mary were at the center of every progressive activity in Elgin for all of our 30+ years as cohorts. RIP, Jess

My Dear Mentor Mary: So sad, the news of Jess' passing. A life well lived--marked however inadequately by his list of accomplishments. He was my Friend and a role model for all my Family. Peace to you, Bill, and Grand-ones. Be in touch. JIM DEAN

We all, especially the city of Elgin, will miss this very civically minded, loving man. Jess and Mary Vickers have truly been a role model for Jim, me, and daughter Susan. My he rest in peace.

I'm so sorry to hear for your loss.Mr.Vickers was a great man for I heard many great stories of him through Kathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this ever so hard time.

Bill: You have my sympathy. May you take comfort in memories of the fun times you shared with your Father.

Vic was the sweetest man we knew. His spirit for life, and his family, was unmatched and his gentle nature made you glad to be near him. God Bless you Mary, Bill, Kathy and Kids.
With love and fond memories,
Brian and Katrina
