Dear Jess - You were an amazing person and a dear friend. We made so many memories over our shared hobbies of baking, gardening, and interior decorating - and of course we had a built-in bond with having the same birthday. Through all the twists and turns our lives took, you were endlessly supportive of me and full of good advice. We will miss you, Jessica. Your legacy of service and compassion will live on in the work the Junior League of Washington continues to do in the community. We hold her family and loved ones in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Although we mourn your absence, we will find comfort in knowing you are at peace. Thank you for your service.

I didn't know Ms Aber, but her story hits a little close to home. I have a child with epilepsy and I worry about her every day. My heart goes out to Ms Aber's loved ones. This is a tragic death. I wish there were more information about how to prevent SUDEP.
