She also lettered in four sports as a freshman – tennis, swimming, track, and cross country, and in cross country and track for the remaining 3 years. Jessie attended West Virginia University for a year and was currently a sophomore at Kent State University studying to be a teacher and coach. Jessie played intramural volleyball and was an avid runner, which was her true passion. She had just completed the Columbus Half-Marathon and was training for the Half-Marathon in Toledo in April. Jessie worked five years at the Catawba Island Club, was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, and loved animals, especially her dog, Liza and her cat, Lucky.
