Jessica Lynne Witt

You have been on my mind lately and don't know why. I remember the day you and Ken came by my house for a bit just to chat and you left your sunglasses on my table. I still have them. I always meant to give them back. I want to share your story so others know what a sweet girl you were. I keep your smile in my mind and in my heart.

I am so hurt today because I did not know of this tragedy. Jessica and I went to school together hung out and were friends. She was a sweet beautiful young lady. I saw her story on the ID channel and was in total shock. I moved away around that time and did not know she was gone. I am praying for the family.

I remember when my daughter was born. Your grandfather sent her a babydoll that he said you helped pickout. She cherished that doll just as those that had a chance to know you cherished you. I only knew you for a short time but I will always remember you and hold those moments dear in my heart.

I will always remember a beautiful, bright curly-haired little girl who I was honored in getting to spend some time with. I will think of you always and know you are happy with your Granny and Dadu. Love you Sherri Witt Sawyer

I was a school friend of Jessica's way back to elementary school. Still think about her from time to time. Still have her original obituary and I have told my two daughters her story. May her memory live in through us for all time.
