Not sure what to say?

Mother Lee was like a Grandmother to me. She would always make me feel good about myself. It was really hard to see her so sick, when I remember her being so tall and strong. I know she is not suffering anymore and she is in a better place, but I will miss her so much. I will never forget my Grandma Lee.

Mother Lee was such a pleasant woman. She was kind and considerate and carried that light of a Christian that we should all have shining.

I thank God for placing you in our lives for the time that He did. I always felt a special connection with you, and not because we shared the same birthday, but you were special and had a way to make others feel that way about themselves.

I will think of you always and appreciate the opportunity that God gave us the chance to spend...

Miss Lee, was a very sweet person, who alway's had a smile on her face. I will miss seeing her at church. I remember when I used to go drop off her Avon.
The family is in my prayers. God bless you all.

Miss Jessie was one of my favorite customers at Taco Bell. Many times as she came to get her favorite item it was a joy always making her "personalized" taco (plus onions and tomatoes). She would leave each time with a smile of pleasure. I will miss my Taco friend from work and church.

Miss Jessie was a kind, loving, and a very friendly person with a warm and charming smile. I will never forget her kindness in looking out for my Mom (Mrs. Ella Dukes) as they traveled together as sisters in Christ. Going many places with the church they both attended and were room mates many times as they traveled together. She will be missed. The Dukes Family (Ella Dukes).

Miss Jessie Mae was a dear family friend, since she and our families came to Grand Rapids. She and my Aunt, Iola Green ,were very close friends, and she lived in the same Highland St. Apartment Buildreng ,where many of our relatives resided. Over the years , she sang in the choir at church with my mother and father, Rev. and Mrs Alvin and Alma Hills. Miss Jessie Mae visited my mother , in her last days , when she was ill and was with us on the night that she passed away in 2003. I will...

My wife Tammy and I met Mother Lee 1yr ago when we joined the Senior Choir at P.R.M.B.C and she would always be sure to remind me to be at the church every 1st Wed to help set up for the food give away ministry she really wanted to help others in need. I looked forward to rehersals on Monday evening and singing on Sunday morning just so I could help her in and out of the choir stand and hear her say to me, " thank you baby", Mother Lee we will never forget you for you are the true definition...

Miss Lee was a Christian lady and always very conscientious. She was full of love, compassion and very courteous. If she waid she would do something for you............bank on it! A very hard-working person who had good work ethics and enjoyed her calling...working with food.

Though she had no actual blood-kin relatives residing in Grand Rapids, she considered her co-workers at Calvin and members of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church as her family. We dearly love her and will miss her...
