VERNON Jessie Mae Merchant, age 78, of Vernon, died Nov. 3, 2006 at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, Miss. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wofford Cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon directing.
