I was saddened this morning to hear of the death of Jessie Patterson. She was a wonderful woman, and we were blessed to have her grace us with her presence at the annual Harris Reunion in Lee's Summit, MO, in September. My prayers go out to her family.

It is with sorrow that I learned of the death of my good friend, Jessie. She had such a great interest in the Harris Reunion and the Harris family (descendants of William and Rhoda Harris). My sympathy to her loved ones.

We will miss Jessie's cheerful smile. She was certainly a talented lady in many ways. I always enjoyed visiting with her and talking about quilting. Blessing's to the Patterson family.

She and Clare gave me my first experience running the pool hall in Benton when I was trying to figure out how to pay for college. I will always be grateful.
