My family came to know Jessie during her last 20 years at Mortimer's, and we loved her like family. Her funeral today was both a sad and joyous occasion. What a fun, kind-hearted, sincere person she was. We will truly miss her.

Miss Jessie was one of the sweetest people I have known. She always had a smile on her face and she was not shy about sharing her faith. The stars in heaven are shining a little brighter now that she is there - she will be missed by all of us who had the good fortune to have known her and could call her their friend. I sure am glad she was one of mine.
