Jessie Whited

Jessie Howard Whited learned to play the 4 string banjo as a child while growing up in Merrimac, KY. He lost his vision at age 17 and attended the school for the blind where he met his first wife, Hazel Henry Whited. They married in 1947 and lived a remarkable life until her death in 1986.
