Not sure what to say?

Kenny & I were so sorry to hear of the passing of such a dear woman. I knew her from my days at Erwin, as she & I watched Morty play football. Then after our marriage, Kenny went to work at L&N RR. What a jewel, a rare jewel for the RR to have. We are so very lucky to have one of Nurse Jessye's paintings, also. When our son was born with an orthopedic problem & having treatments as a newborn, she would call weekly to check on him and give us encouragement. Yes, we knew her LOVE and she...

I will miss and remember Ms. Humphreys. She was one of the first residents I met at St.Martins... She and I hit it off right from the start! I am thankful to call her my friend the Queen.

My heart is saddened with this news. It has been a long time since I saw Jessye but my childhood memories will be with me forever. My prayers to the family.

May I extend my sincere condolences to all family members. God give you all the memories that will keep her in your presence.

It was an honor to have shared my life with Jesse. She was truly an inspiration to everyone she met. I will cherish the memories of escorting her around Alabama telling others to not give up. I will miss my "Queen". My Prayers to the family.

Aunt Jesse was a joy to be around and she made everyone around her feel such love. She was so proud to hear that I had chosen the nursing field and gave me a copy of her book. Years later, I was able to serve as her nurse in home care, which made her even more proud. I'm honored to have known her. She touched my life in a very special way.

Jesse Humphries was a friend to all.We met her when we first came to St. Martin's and immediately became friends. Jesse especially loved my wife who was an alzheimers patient. She gave her an angel doll which my wife cherished as long as she lived. I will miss her a lot. Jesse was a true friend who always made you feel good when visiting her.
