I met Jess through his brother Greg. Jess was a kind person. He visited Hawaii and took a Computer Programing class with me at the University of Hawaii, college of business. It was right when computers were coming out and all of the programming had to be done in the computer lab. DOS based. No one owned a home computer, there wasn't really such a thing as a PC and the laptop had not been invented. Jess and I would go to the computer class. My condolences to the Tabasa Family and his many pupils and friends who he inspired with his giving and caring nature. Jess was a great friend to me during high School and college and we had many wonderful meals at his mother's restaurant. It was always great to see him at our reunions and we always picked up as though the years had never passed. He will be missed until we meet again. Hu

Jess will long be remembered as one of the outstanding teachers at EA Hall Middle School. Thank you Jess.
