Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the passing of Jesus Nolasco Wilson. May perpetual light shine upon him and may his soul rest in peace. I am from the Nolasco Ocampo clan of Binan Laguna and we have some pictures of Juan Nolasco Wilson postcards to my grandmother Adoracion Nolasco Ocampo.

We extend our sympathy to the Wilson family. We knew Jess through work and his reputation as a outstanding engineer.

Jess will long be remembered as a true professional. My involvement with Jess was minimal, however his expertise and professional demeanor made a lasting impression on me. Please accept my prayers for Jess and his family.

As is stated in other entries, Jess had a profound impact on the NAVAIR organization. I too was mentored by this great man and recall fondly the time I was able to present him with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) San Diego Section Award for Outstanding Contribution to Aerospace Engineering just prior to his retirement. Below is the introduction I used at the awards banquet where Jess was honored:

1997 AIAA SAN DIEGO SECTION OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION...

My Dear Merci,
Though it has been many years since I have seen you and Jess, you folks have never been far from my mind, and he will be sorely missed. Jess was true to his word to me, and made me proud of his performance for the Navy - in my book, he was a fine, fine man. My most sincere condolences to you and your family. I cannot express the grief which I too feel at his passing. Forgive me for not attending the services, but I am there in spirit to support you always.

Dear Jess,
When we had some doubts/problems to ponder, you were there. You made them clear for all of us to see. Thank you for your kindness and selfless devotion to us. We know that your family is so proud of you. Again, THANKS.
Ben

I was one of many young engineers that Jess mentored at North Island NAS. He treated all those he taught with respect and dignity, and he was always happy to help and open to any question. His legacy lives on today as his writings and teachings are passed-on to younger generations. He was a great man and will be missed.

Entire Wilson Family---
